The long view (in charts) of ADP’s strong jobs figures

November’s jobs report from ADP was just released. Private companies added 215,000 new jobs in during the month – much stronger than economists’ forecasts calling for gains of only 170,000. The October number was also revised up to 184,000 from an earlier reading of 130,000.

The stronger than expected report has pushed futures down a bit, and interest rates up, with the 10-year UST now yielding 2.84%, up 6 basis points from yesterday.

Here are the charts that show ADP‘s figures over the last year, as well as looking back historically.
